A Prayer For The Virtuous Woman

The Lord calls his Daughters to be great women of virtue according to Proverbs 31. A virtuous woman is one who fears the Lord, is obedient to His Word, and who handles her business. She is responsible and serves as a role model for all women and wives to embody. As I seek to become the virtuous woman that God has called me to be, I pray that you also discover the virtuous woman within you. This prayer is my focus. May it bless you through your journey.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for blessing me and considering me precious in your sight.

May my husband trust in me, and may I greatly enrich his life.

May I bring him good, and not harm, all the days of my life.

May I find purpose in the resources you provide me with, becoming a provider for those in my home.

May I arise before dawn to receive a Word from you and plan the day’s work unafraid of what the future may bring.

May you strengthen the entrepreneur within me, giving me the energy and hard work ethic needed to complete your tasks.

May my dealings always be profitable, and may my work be a reflection of you every day and night.

May my mind never stray from the purpose you’ve placed in me and may I receive opportunities to help and serve those in need.

May I cast down all fear, worry, and stress from my life and home, knowing that you will never leave me or forsake, for you are my father and I am your daughter.

May my physical clothing consist of fine linen and purple, while my spiritual clothing embodies strength in dignity.

May my husband be known amongst the elders as a great man of faith, and may he always walk in obedience to your Word.

May my words speak wisdom and give instruction with kindness, and may I carefully attend to the matters of my home, never suffering from laziness.

May I be a blessing to both my husband and children, fearing You only and trusting in You always.

Transform me into the virtuous woman and wife you’ve created me to be.
