Day #101 – Support (Part 2)
Dear God I’m Grateful For Support
.
“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.” - Ecclesiastes 4:9 NLT
.
Today we launched a new magazine issue for IRONWIFEY magazine and I couldn’t have done it without support.
.
From my husband staying up with late every night with me to make sure I meet my deadlines, to my amazing sisters in Christ who write for, pray for, and encourage me as I navigate running a magazine, I thank you.
.
Asking for help was a struggle for me growing up, because I had a reputation as “the strong one”, so I felt like a failure when I couldn’t handle the workload. Asking for assistance, saved my life and lifted so many burdens that I carried for years.
.
I witness led how the Lord moves when we help each other, I realized that what I thought was failure, the enemy used as another form of pride. He led me to believe that I was above asking for help, and it wasn’t until I humbled myself and surrendered to God when I saw the need for humility and community.
.
As Romans 12:5 says, “We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.”
.
So today I honor those who have blessed me with their presence, encouragement, time and support to help me produce my part as I humble myself and trust God through this journey.
